Monica L. Strawther, BSc, CCRP

Office Manager, Clinical Research Coordinator and Biologics Educator

Monica Strawther received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Biology in May 2002 from Middle Tennessee State University. She has served as clinical research coordinator for Franklin Gastroenterology for four years and just recently took on the role as Office Manager for the practice. Monica also serves as the Biologics Educator for the practice in order to educate patients coping with inflammatory bowel disease that are using biologic infusion therapies to treat their Crohn’s Disease or Ulcerative Colitis. She recently received her certification to be a certified clinical research professional from a well-known accredited research association. She has an extensive clinical research background in Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Chronic Constipation, Chronic Diarrhea, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Bowel Preparation and Pill Cam Endoscopy.  She has received training in Good Clinical Practices and IATA for Bio-Hazardous Goods. Monica has knowledge and training for several different electronic data capture systems, such as, BioClinica, InForm and Data Labs to name a few.
